Diamond hollow drill
We are often asked why our diamond drill bits are slightly more expensive than those from the Far East or those of our competitors. These are mostly covered with only one layer of diamond (see picture 2) and are used up after 5 - 10 drillings. Then the carrier material comes to light and the drill offers no advance, jams or breaks off. These are difficult to see externally for the layperson. Our diamond drills (see image 1), on the other hand, are completely interspersed with diamonds in the drill bit due to our production process and can be used up to the end. 500 - 800 holes are not uncommon. For this reason we took a closer look for you to clarify the difference.

High-quality diamond drill bits with many years of manufacturing experience
Diamond drill bits of the highest quality.
Due to our production, diamond drills are completely interspersed with diamonds in the drill bit. This is the only way they can meet the high demands of the industry. Our diamond drills are built up galvanically in a so-called nickel thick-layer process. This means that the diamond hollow drill blank can be manufactured in one production step. Drill bit and hollow drill shank are thus connected "from birth".
The concentration of diamond grains in this process is significantly higher than in mechanically manufactured tools such as bronze or plastic bonding. Here the diamond grit is not just applied in one layer, but distributed over the entire diamond crown. This increases the drilling performance of the diamond tool enormously. We can only meet this standard through the permanent quality assurance of our diamond drill bit production.
We can supply these diamond drill bits in almost any desired holder or clamping shank. Thanks to their thin wall thickness, our galvanic diamond drill bits enable clean penetration into the material. Outbreaks are therefore largely avoided.
Diamond drills are suitable for a wide variety of materials:
• rock
• hardest fine stoneware
• technical ceramics
• Thermal protection tubes
• SIC tubes
• Glass
• Gems
• Semi-precious stones and many more.
Free course on the correct use of diamond drill bits
In order to achieve the best results, however, cooling should not be dispensed with. Dry drilling is rarely possible with this diamond drill bit. Ideally, the cooling should be provided by the drill itself. The cooling of the face of the drill bit also enables the drilling mud to be flushed out directly, which could otherwise lead to the diamond tool jamming.
We would be happy to advise you before you buy and explain the use of flushing heads/drilling adapters and how they work. In order to use the diamond hollow drills professionally, you will receive a drilling course free of charge when you buy a diamond drill.
